My name is Sheena and I am a die hard Mobile fan. This is how it all begun and why my love for these guys is strong:

I am a big music fan and have been for ages but my problem is I don't try getting into new bands, I like what I like and that's it, most of the time... (not a good thing, I know)

My husband and I were watching Musique Plus (our local TV music station) and this video came on that caught both of our attention. The sound reminded me of Duran Duran. During the whole video the beat was catchy and I had to know who these guys were. Then I saw "Out of My Head" Mobile. First thing I did was Google "Mobile" yeah..not a good thing, I got all this cell phone crap stuff come up..lol

Anyhow..I finally found them and was thrilled to learn these guys were from Montreal, like me :) Went out and bought the CD and upon the first listen, I loved every song. That is rare when buying a CD, there is always those 1 or 2 songs you skip... but not with this band!

I then heard they would be performing outdoors in downtown Montreal on June 20th 2006 so I went to check them out and it was love at first sight. Mat (the singer) sounded so much like Bono with pefect vocals and the other guys had so much energy, it was amazing. They rocked every song live as they do on the CD.

I have never done promo or anything of such for any other band or singer in my life but I knew I had to get people I knew to listen to this band and see them. They deserve to be known. From my second meeting with the guys I told them all they could do arenas 4-5 years from now. (that was in 2006). I still believe they can do arenas if everyone would help get these guys known. It is impossible to listen to Mobile and not get hooked. (or perhaps I am a little biased). Seriously though not only are they as talented as any "big" band like U2, Duran Duran , they are the sweetest guys you will ever meet.

I was real excited when Bieler Bros, signed the band to a US deal and I am impressed with all the work these guys are doing for Mobile. I have been dying for them to find people who would give them a chance and also do lots of promo to help get the word out and I am not sure Mobile would have been able to find better people. To date, I am real impressed.

I wish these guys all the success in the world and my dream is to see them play an arena/stadium 1 day. I know they can! (My first dream already came true, finding out they'll be sharing the stage with Bon Jovi in NB in June :-D...I must go!!)
